is one of Scotland's top snooker players. In 1999 he
became Scottish Under 21 Champion and has since
played in a number of top professional tournaments.
Jason hopes to follow in the footsteps of Scotland's

realised a childhood dream when she gained a place
on a nursing course at Aberdeen University in 2005.
During her training, she is looking forward to
working in Accident & Emergency (A&E) or with HIV
patients. Eventually, Louise hopes to become a
hospital ward sister. |

Terry
Lanagan

Gourock High has had many great
teachers over the years. Some have gone on to top
posts elsewhere. Many former pupils will remember
Mr Lanagan whose first teaching post was in the
English Dept. in the late 70s. He went on to become
Head Teacher at Vale of Leven Academy and is now
leading a team which will invest £100 million in
building new schools in West Dunbartonshire. |

Neil
showed a lot of promise as a young footballer at
school and has gone on to enjoy a long career in the
sport. He played for a number of clubs including
Morton, West Ham and then Hibs where he acted as
captain for a number of games. After he stopped
playing, Neil qualified as a coach and now helps
develop the skills of youth footballers in the East
of Scotland. |

Kenneth is a highly talented individual who first
made a name for himself at Glasgow University where
he became President of the Scottish Union of
Students. He has gone on to achieve a lot in a wide
variety of fields. Kenneth has been a very
successful journalist and writer. He has also been a
teacher, worked in military intelligence and been an
active member of the SNP. |
