experienced and very successful actor. She is
perhaps best known for playing Bea in the popular
television series The House Of Eliott. Thanks
to here talent and professional approach, Stella has
also appeared in many other TV programmes such
Casualty, Dalziel & Pascoe and The
Crow Road. She also played Mrs Nickleby in
a film of Charles Dickens' great book Nicholas
Nickleby. |

Dame has many former pupils who work in the National
Health Service (NHS). Graham is a good example. He
studied medicine at Glasgow University and has
gone on to become a talented surgeon. Graham is now
a consultant paediatric surgeon at the Royal
Hospital for Sick Children, Yorkhill, Glasgow. Away
from work, he is one of the country's top scout
leaders. |

Joanne
was one of only 25 students across Scotland selected
for the Scottish Space School 2006 visit to NASA
headquarters in the USA. During the trip she worked
with NASA astronauts and scientists and visited
laboratories and the space shuttle. The Space School
aims to excite young Scots about the career options
in science, engineering and technology. |

Jemma

Jemma's talent was clear from an early age when she
took part in Highland Dancing competitions. Over the
years she developed a love of dance and went on to
complete an Honours degree specialising in
contemporary and classical ballet and including
elements of hip hop and jazz. Jemma is now a dancer,
actor and model based in London. |

is an expert in employment and discrimination law.
He works with the Equal Opportunities Commission in
Scotland and provides legal advice to the public as
well as a wide range of organisations. Peter often
speaks at conferences dealing with employment and
discrimination. He has also
represented many individuals in employment tribunal
and court cases. |

is the Member of Parliament (MP) for Greenock and
Inverclyde. He spends a lot of time at Westminster
in London as well as working in the local
constituency. David made history when he became an
MP because he is a former Catholic Priest and an Act
of Parliament was needed to lift the ban on priests
