"Quality
rather than quantity ..."
“Colourful, accessible and
interesting for pupils. I am delighted
you have gone for quality rather than
quantity. This is very welcome when we
are already short of time and extra units of
work which last many periods are
simply not possible."

"Will
be useful in a number of ways ..."
On behalf of the
school may I thank you. The teaching pack will be useful in
a number of ways:
In science lessons the section on alcohol's
effect on the body and sexual health is
particularly relevant to the module B1:
Understanding Ourselves in the new GCSE
Science course.
The sections on the law are relevant to our
PSHE/Citizenship work in KS3 and will
promote discussion in groups. These sections
will also reinforce the
health aspects covered in Science lessons.
We have also included the Family Quiz
in The Selly Oaker
magazine for pupils and parents. I am sure
many people will enjoy this quiz.

"Saved
me a great deal of time and effort ..."
“The
Alcohol Awareness leaflets are
fantastic, particularly as the answer
sheets are provided which saves a lot of
time. At first I thought I
would use them simply for cover material when staff in the department are absent but
in fact the pupils enjoyed working on them so much I
have decided to make the sheets the basis of
a new Alcohol Awareness unit in our
PSE course. I have also downloaded the
Case Studies and extra quizzes from the
website, and I am sure this will be the part of
the course the youngsters enjoy most.
Thanks ... you has saved me a great deal of
time and effort."

"Many, many thanks ..."
"Please let
Midlands Co-op know we are very grateful for
their support. The packs are both
professional and colourful. For the topic of
Alcohol Awareness they are a very useful
time-saver, particularly with the answer
sheets provided which is very helpful for
busy staff. The materials can be used easily
and are certainly teacher friendly. I am
very keen to build these into the work
youngsters do with their form tutors. Many,
many thanks."
