We have
a problem ..
Recent months have seen a sharp drop in the number of
school pupils planning a career in business.
It seems the good work done in recent years to get young
people thinking positively about enterprise is being
rapidly undermined by the
constant, negative coverage of current economic
difficulties.
Of course, serious problems exist but for the good of the
economy, teachers urgently need to give youngsters a
more rounded view.
The
Schools Business
Project
has therefore been set up to supply
schools with monthly, teacher-friendly materials which
cover positive news
stories from the global and UK business world.
These include items about the creation of jobs and
exciting new inventions along with more balanced
coverage of the ongoing economic problems.
It
costs firms £30 a year to become a member of the
project. In return, you can add our logo to your
website and we will also send you a
ready-to-go item for your news section.
You may also nominate a secondary school
for the project whereupon we will send the teachers
monthly quiz-based materials along with an item for
the school newsletter thanking you for the nomination. (Click on the image
