Gillian was a pupil at Bearsden Academy in Glasgow before studying Law at Glasgow University. Her career has proved very successful and she is now a partner with one of Scotland's largest law firms, MacRoberts. Gillian is an expert in commercial property law and has worked on some of Scotland's largest property deals including major school developments in both Edinburgh and Glasgow as well as the New Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. After leaving school, Menzies studied Arts and Law at Glasgow University. He then won a scholarship to study in the USA. In 1964, Menzies was chosen to represent Britain at the Olympic Games! Next he became an Advocate and thereafter the Liberal Democrat MP for North East Fife.  In 2006, he was elected leader of the Liberal Democrat Party.

Ronnie enjoys visiting other countries. This explains why, having studied Law at Edinburgh University, he followed this up with a Masters degree at the University of Western Australia.  Ronnie is now an Advocate working in the Scottish courts. As well as representing a wide variety of clients he often returns to Edinburgh University as a lecturer in the Law faculty.

Douglas is the Joint Senior Partner of one of Scotland's most successful law firms, Turcan Connell. He is a co-founder of the firm which now acts for many of the country's top people. Sheriff Frank Crowe is a well-known name in Scottish legal circles. He studied law at Dundee University and in due course, became a Procurator Fiscal in Kirkcaldy.  He was later appointed as Sheriff sitting in Dundee where he gained a reputation for civility to everyone in his court, including those unfortunate enough to appear before him accused of a crime. Sheriff Crowe went on to train other judges as Director of the Judicial Studies Committee. (more)

Paul studied Law at Edinburgh University and went on to specialise in court work. He has become one of Scotland's top lawyers, and was selected by the Conservative government of the day to serve as Solicitor General for Scotland from 1995 to 1997. Paul is now a successful Advocate and an expert in commercial and computer law.

Roseanna was born in Glasgow but emigrated with her family at the age of 8. She was educated in Australia before returning to Scotland to study Law at Edinburgh University. Roseanna practised as both a solicitor and advocate before she was sensationally elected as an MP for the Scottish National Party. She quickly became a leading light in the SNP and was then elected as one of the first MSPs in the new Scottish Parliament. (more)

Chris is a member of a Scottish rugby squad which has won some famous victories over teams such as France and England. However, there is much more to Chris than simply being a talented rugby player. He is a pleasant, intelligent young man who completed a law degree at Edinburgh University before taking up full-time rugby.

Mike has been the driving force behind Govan Law Centre (GLC) in Glasgow since 1999. As Principal Solicitor he helps many people who may otherwise lack confidence in dealing with a lawyer. Mike gains a lot of satisfaction from helping clients deal with problems such as those caused by ill health, crime, homelessness and family matters. He studied Law & Politics at Strathclyde University followed by a postgraduate course at Dundee University.
