The Schools Project

The Schools Project is a network of teachers, career advisors and professionals from various sectors of the economy.

Our aim is to raise the confidence, aspirations and achievements of young people, particularly in state schools.

With imaginative and practical assistance for students and school staff, we make a real difference to many young lives.

Just two of our projects:

Career Arrows

Our new and unique Career Arrows initiative provides ground-breaking assistance for students who are keen to pursue a particular career path.

Impressive People

We set up the education charity, Impressive People, to highlight successful former pupils from state schools, and so help raise the confidence and aspirations of those following in their footsteps.

ABOUT

The Schools Project was set up by Patrick Gaffney, a highly experienced teacher who has written extensively for both primary and secondary schools.

Patrick is Director of the project and is shown here addressing an audience at the Scottish Parliament on our work.

Impressive People began in Scotland and is now active throughout the UK.
